Overview

Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while on property.

This is a temporary role starting at $18.99 per hour.

Responsibilities

The following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in a hotel with or without reasonable accommodation :

Meet and greet guests as they arrive.Prepare food, set up breakfast buffet and replenish food as needed in restaurant and event space.

Break down and remove food items from restaurant and event space.Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, service stations, tables, buffet area and the bar in the evenings.

Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area and properly clean items.Maintain supplies of dishes, napkins and other items to service the F&B area.

Prep any food items for daily eventsPrepare coffee orders as requested accurately and efficiently and in accordance with Hyatt Place Brand Standards.

PM F&B Attendant to service the bar and prepare food and beverage items as needed. Input orders through the POS system and settle guest accounts by room charges or credit card charges.

Comply with unit and brand procedures and standards.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Hotel experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching upward with or without reasonable accommodation.Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Ability to grasp, lift and / or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart / truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
